This was so sweet... I downloaded it the other day not being quite sure what to expect, but I'm so glad I did! The conversation between Dodie and Vera reminded me a lot of late night convos I've had with my friends ;; It felt very real and grounded, despite the surreal nature of certain aspects. A really lovely read ;w;

this is so good and sweet

I AM SO HAPPY I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO PLAYING THIS!!!!

the main menu track slaps and THE INTRO IS SO GOOD SO UNIQUE FOR RENPY ESPECIALLY!! THIS HAD ME SEATED FROM THE WORD GO. The artwork also worked so hard here, it is a delightful aesthetic and color palette and the slightly off-kilter proportions and stylizations give this a crap ton of character. Dodie feels like she could be from strange french cartoons from my childhood in the best way possible

The shitty apartment shower and curtain mold sufferingvibe is incredibly accurate; the delirous late night cleaning focus that's disproportionaltely eroding your body. the feeling a bit shitty about it but it not being a worldending catastrophe, just a notch in a life that's a little dogshit sometimes.

AND OF COURSE;; VERA IS ADORABLE!!! the script and character interactions precious and delightful. The use of emoticons and how Dodie and Vera chat amongst each other and warm up each other's language is deeply seeped with affection and care. SNAILSHELL manages to capture a type of mundane down-to-earth display of mutual care in such accurate and striking detail and efficacy that it just makes me feel a little warm inside and that the ways I and my friends care for each other when things are just a little more shit than usual are nothing more than the sweet morsels they need to be. Thank you for making this!! Absolute delight hehehe

so good!!

really great visuals. beautiful presentation. a lot of nice backgrounds, colors, dithering. story really nice! short and sweet. i love vera!! best snail girl so good!!

she... she drewww... she drew them togetherrrrrr *sob*

music seemed nice too! i will have to play again because the first time i played i had accidentally loaded the game twice so the menu music in the background was actually drowning out whatever music was playing in game. once i realized this i played through again real quick without a second instance of the game in the background (and chose a few different choices.)

10/10 recommend

such a cute visual novel this warmed my heart, i had fun doing the snail pose myself and loved both the characters and there interactions. thank you

This is SO cute it's ridiculous I love these two.

This was so heartwarming and lovely... I'm so glad Dodie has Vera looking out for her. Goodnight little snail <3

This went in very different ways than I expected a couple times throughout the story, but I love it so much anyway. Before the reveal of our little snaily friend I was preparing myself for something sad, but what I got instead was real and heart-wrenching, that last scene with both of them in snail mode put a big smile on my face.

I love these two girlies, I love Dodie's brain and her freckles and her dumb smile, and the fact she almost killed herself with bleach.

This was a blast, thank you so much for making it.

Thank you so much omg :))
This makes me so happy ;;

Make cool things forever!

YIPPEEEEE

I really loved this snail game. The way the sound, art and words came together to convey the emotional journey was so visceral in such an impressive way.

Oh god! This was a lot of things.

I loved the video opening, the typography synced with the music. That was such a cool display in such a restrained layout. The backgrounds and sprites were off-the-charts, and the interface had such nice colors and textures. The music was really musical, while still incorporating noise (and fuzz). The story was quite a journey with such a cute ending. But you also included maybe the one body horror thing that i can’t stand reading. I had to click through fast and cover my eyes (for real) and needed some time to emotionally arrive in the calmer part of the game.

That was a really impressive first game. I’m looking forward to see more!

Thank you so much omgggg ;;;;;;;
